Breath of Nature

「Breath of Nature」は、蓮の形象を表現することを超え、独自に開発した天然繊維である発芽紙そのものが持つ固有の物質性によって、自らの形態が決定されるインスタレーション作品です。作家による介入を最小限に抑え、成長、変化、そして自然な循環のプロセスが自律的に展開していくことを受け入れています。紙の表面に刻まれた独特のテクスチャーは、生きた時間の痕跡と静かな自然の息吹を宿し、大地の表皮であると同時に、生きた蓮の葉の本質を想起させます。空間を流れる緑の線は、目に見える生命の流れとして広がり、自然と人間、過去と現在を結びつける相互につながった循環を象徴しています。自然を描写するのではなく、その内在するリズムと再生する生命力を明らかにすることで、本作品は、生命の持つしなやかな回復力と、共生が続いていく永続的な循環について、鑑賞者に思索を促します。
